Welcome to 'GRAPHERF' travel & photography blog.

Yo! My name is Farzan Abdul Rahim, also known as 'GRAPHERF' in the digital world. I am a Mechanical Engineer by education and a Travel Photographer by passion. I am obsessed with taking photographs of everything that interests me on the move. I feed my soul by walking through an alluring landscape enjoying sunrise/sunset or beholding that beautifully designed piece of architecture and capturing all those moments with my camera. This will be a blog where I will be sharing my travel experiences and my passion for photography.

I grew up with my family in Kannur district, state of Kerala, India. I am the eldest of three children. After completing high school I moved to Bengaluru(Karnataka, India) for doing my Bachelor's degree. And that was the first time staying away from my family. The first few months were hard as I was already missing my family and friends. But then I got adapted to that town and moved on with my college life.

I must say, Bengaluru, that city transformed me into a person I am today. The relocation to that city gave me more courage and strength. I began learning the local language there and started mingling with people. I started trying out activities which I had always been dreaming of like dancing, singing, etc. I even got a chance to dance onstage for our fresher's day event, thanks to my classmates who chose me as one of their partners. But all those didn't last long because my mind had already started giving signals that it is not my cup of tea.

And my college life went just like that without any extracurricular activities. I focused on my studies even though engineering didn't interest me much, but I was already in it and I had to finish it anyway. After accomplishing all those internals, semester exams, seminars, and project, I graduated from college with a first-class, thanks to my roommate who helped in my studies. Then I flew back home with all my belongings and a substantial question in mind, 'What next?'.
